Supuwath Arana (Holistic Formation Centre)
Supuwath Arana is a pl
ace to visit and meditate which is located along 300 meters from Colomobo- Negombo road to Raddoluwa road.It was inaugurated in the year 2000 and declared open by His Grace, the Archbishop of Colombo Most Rev.Dr.Oswald Gomis on the 7th day Of November 2007.
First time, when I was there, I couldn't hardly believe my eyes, whether this was real place or not. It's a real recreation. Parish Priest has done a great job to create this place. It's still being constructed.
Many people from around the country flock to this marvelous place daily to pray to God and meditate. This place is built in a marshy land. which extends many square meters. The way of Cross, Floating boats, Sermon halls and natural birds and lakes are included in
this place.
If you really want to be alone and closer to God. This is the place you must be.
Please Kindly note that this place is for people who love to pray and meditate. If you hope to go on a trip, this is not an ideal place to be.
My Second visit to Supuwath Arana
Now it's completed!!! Beautiful, charming, floating cabins are on the lake and the way to cross has been completed. Signs boards displaying CCTV are monitoring are hung on many places but unable to see many.
It's a cool place to be as I mentioned my first article.
